Cooking method of Minestrone soup & Chicken a'la Kiev


Minestrone soup


Minestrone soup(pootage minestrone) 


 Minestrone soup is a thick soup of Italian origin made with vegetables, often with the addition of pasta or rice, sometimes both.

First you need some ingredients as followed to make minestrone soup. 

S.n.       Ingredients 

1.           Onion(30gm) 

2.           Carrot(60gm) 

3.           Celery(40gm) 

4.           Garlic(5gm) 

5.           Potato(100gm) 

6.           Tomato puree(50ml) 

7.           Chopped tomato(200gm) 

8.           Peas(50gm) 

9.           Spaghetti(140gm) 

10.         Cabbage(100gm) 

11.         Beans(100gm) 

12.         Capsicum(60gm) 

13.         Bread, croutons(4slice) 

14.         Salt/pepper(to taste) 

15.          Vegetable stock(1500ml) 

16.          Parmesan grated(10gm) 

17.          Parsley(5gm) 

18.          Olive oil(20ml) 



Method of Cooking

1) Wash peel and cut all the vegetables in to paysenne. Chop onion, garlic. 

2) Heat oil on a pan add onion, garlic, celery saute for a minute, add potato beans, capsicum, carrot, add stock bring to boil. 

3) Add broken spaghetti, tomato, tomato puree salt and pepper, and cabbage. 

4) Cook till done. Garnish with parsley and bread croutons, serve parmesan on side.

Chicken a'la kiev(poulet a la kiev) 


A Russian chef invented Chicken Kiev in the early 1800s. Kiev is the capital of Ukraine but Chicken Kiev did not get its name from there. Chicken Kiev got its name when it was marketed for Russian restaurants in Europe and America


First you need some ingredients as followed to make Chicken a'la kiev. 

S.N.            Ingredients

1.                Chicken breast(800gm) 

2.                Egg(1nos) 

3.                Salt/pepper(To taste) 

4.                Bread crumb(200gm) 

5.                Onion(50gm) 

6.                Parsley(20gm) 

7.                Butter(50gm) 

8.                Oil(200ml)

Method of Cooking

1) Clean chicken breast slit in between and make flat. 

2) Prepare parsley butter and fill in to the breast and seal the edge. 

3) Deep chicken in to beaten egg and roll in bread crumb. Give rest minimum 30 minutes. 

4) Heat oil on a pan deep fry chicken till crisp golden color. 

5) Serve with mashed potato and saute legumes.
