Chicken Do Pyaza:

Chicken do pyaza use to make by my two favorite ingredients if you don't know by now chicken and onion this recipe is called chicken do pyaza. Chicken do pyaza is a most popular indian dishes. Most people say it origin in india but not any prove.  chicken do pyaza know as murgh do pyaza some people call but real name is chicken do pyaze. I don't know wht people call murgh do pyaza if you know please let me in comment section. 


(Chicken in thick onion tomato based gravy) 

Let't start to make chicken do pyaza😊


First you need some ingredients as followed:

S. N.            Indredients/Quantity 

1.                  Chicken(1kg) 

2.                  Oil (100ml) 

3.                  Onion(200gm) 

4.                  Ginger, garlic paste(1/1 tsp) 

5.                  Turmeric(1tsp) 

6.                  Chilly(1tsp) 

7.                  Cumin, coriander seed (1tsp) 

8.                  Clove, G. Cardamom, bay leaf

9.                  Tomato puree(2tbs) 

10.                Salt(to taste) 

11.                Tomato, capsicum, coriander(garnish)



Chicken do pyaza

Cooking method

1) Skiniess the chicken, remove necks, wings and cut into pieces. 

2) Sprinkle some salt, blanch, in hot oil, keep a slide. 

3) Slice 100 grams of onion,  heat oil, fry until golden brown. 

4) Add whole garam masala, powder masala, ginger & garlic paste, tomato puree, & some water, allow to simmer until the oil content floats on the surface. 

5) Add pieces of chicken, season, and cover with lid, simmer until the chicken is cooked. 

6) Dicea remaining onion, capsicum and tomatoes, saute with little oil, season. 

7) Clean the coriander leaves and chop. 

8) Correct the seasoning, pour over curry dish, sprinkle garnishes and serve with rice or roti.
