Cooking Method Of English Mutton Stew, Mixed Vegetable & Steamed Rice

 

Mutton Stew

Mutton stew(Navarin d agneau):

English Mutton stew recipe:

Mutton stew is a preparetion in which tough cuts of mutton are into small picees, seared in hot fat and simmered slowly in a flavored liquid until moist and Website tender in the process, its liquid medium becomes a glossy sauce rich with the favors of the meat.

Nepali foods recipe

First you need some ingredients as followed. 

S. N.           Ingredients/Quantity 

1.                  Mutton meat(600gm) 

2.                  Oil(30ml) 

3.                  Onion(100gm) 

4.                  Garlic(5gm) 

5.                  Brown stock(500ml) 

6.                  Tomato puree(50ml) 

7.                  Flour(25gm) 

8.                  Bay leaf(3 nos) 

9.                  Salt/pepper( To taste) 

10.                Celery(10gm) 

11.                Parsley(5gm) 

12.                Rosemary(3gm) 



Cooking Method

1) Clean and cut meat into pieces. 

2) Heat oil on a fry pan add meat, add onion, garlic, celery, and continue frying. 

3) Add stock and salt, pepper, rosemary, bay leaf cover and cook till done. 



Mixed Vegetables 

Mixed Vegetables :

(Green Vegetable cut into dice and tossed in butter

First you need some ingredients as followed:

S. N.              Ingredients/Quantity 

1.                    Carrot(100gm) 

2.                    Potato(100gm) 

3.                    Beans(100gm) 

4.                    Onion(30gm) 

5.                    Garlic(5gm) 

6.                    Butter(15gm) 

7.                    Salt/pepper(to taste) 


Mix vegetables


Cooking Method

1) Wash pe vegetables and cut into small cubes. 

2) Boil in a saucepan. 

3) Strain and keep on side, heat butter on a pan add onion, garlic and add vegetables sauté for a minute. Add seasoning. 



Steamed Rice

Steamed Rice

(Boiled rice, strained and kept in hot steamer

First you need some ingredients as followed. 

S. N.           Ingredients/Quantity 

1.                 Rice(400gm) 

2.                 Salt(Pinch) 


Cooking Method

1) Wash and keep rice soaked. 

2) Boil water and add rice cook till done. 

3) Drain water and put on steamer serve hot.
